Why are so many releases lately not having a 1440p Version???

1440p is the max Quality i can watch on my VR Goggles and 1080p is too crappy.

With my Lifetime Membership i expect to get a Quality i can watch

doublevr No i won't. First off, why should i buy a new VR Goggle for 500 Bucks and than a huge amount of new HDDs, cause higher Quality nedds much more HDD Space? Instead of 2,2gb for a VRHush Scene in 1440p, 10gb for a 2880p Scene, I don't have a Gold Donkey in my Basement., to buy tons of HDDs, especially with HDD Price Explosion that is currently goin' on. And why do you still support 1080p BS and not 1440p??? For me, 1440p is perfect and that's why i signed up with a Lifetime Membership. And nooo, streaming is no Option, 'cause where i live, Internet is really bad. So downloading is my only Option

I get your points on money and storage space and 1080p being available,, but damn, 1440p. That's like 10 years ago.

Say more about your setup, and if you really need 1440p, I'm sure someone can say the steps on how to downres a 4k download to 1440p to save space.

I'd recommend upgrading though. Unless you're disabled and there's no way to get a few hundred bucks together for a much better experience. Get a used Quest 3 (Don't waste your time on 3S) somewhere around $300

TemporaryName I am absolutely happy with 1440p and i don't care about 4k or 8k. I still buy DVDs and no 4k Crap and the current pricing for Storage is completely overdrawn. Another good Reason for 1440p. Why should i waste 8gb of Storage for a sinlge Scene, for a Quality i don't want.
If SLR thinks they don't need to support 1440p but 1080p, they doin' big BS.

I guess i let my Lawyer check this Situation. I bought my Lifetime Membership and there was no Word, that 1440p will no longer be supported at some Point. And it is not allowed, to force somebody to buy ne Equipment, while a Company thinks, 8k is the S**t everybody wants and needs

FritzGerlach I think storage prices have mainly affected ssd's you can still get decent size 7200 rpm hard drives with several terabytes for less than a hundred bucks, less if you dont even need that much. I use a couple of them on my local NAS where I stream full 8k scenes just fine, so I'm sure you could stream your content from them and still have a ton of space left if you move up to 4k resolution instead. Just a suggestion.

Step up to 4k. Or download 4k and convert it to 1440p decade old quality.

not only 1440p is gone but also 1920p is gone and for 4K they left only 2160p which sucks, much compatible resolution is 2048p
