Just in case some one goes shopping for a BLE dongle. They need Transmitter (TX) or better, transceiver (TX/RX).
A receiver (RX) is what's in the Launch/Keon and oculus HMD's.

Might sound nitpicky, I know. But a receiver won't work.

To use DEOVR you need version 1.1.1 of scriptplayer https://github.com/FredTungsten/ScriptPlayer/releases/tag/1.1.1

On DEOVR setting under developer tab "enable remote control"

Follow RealcumberScripts guide above until choosing videoplayer to use.

There you should see DEOVR under video player tab. After that you should get connection settings window. Use IP or host : Port localhost:23554

After that you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

RealcumberScripts thanks for all the help so far. I got to the point where i can get the keon to connect to the scriptplayer. But i can't get deovr in my go to connect to the script player. I can watch the movies through the dlna but no joy for connecting. I changed to port as recommended but am still getting the deovr not connected in the scriptplayer. I also enabled remote control in the deovr app. Pls any help would be appreciated.

RealcumberScripts just bumping this to see if there is a solution. I might just be missing something silly. Just can't get the realscript player to see my oculus go or the deovr app in it.
