I’m using a Pico 4 Ultra and trying to play SLR Master files locally from an external hard drive via USB-C OTG, since the file sizes are too large and 3 videos already fill up the internal storage.
The Pico system recognizes the external drive without any issues. The native file manager detects it and I can play videos through the default player. However, the drive does not appear in DeoVR at all.
This is a problem because the native Pico player does not correctly format SLR 190-fisheye videos, so projection is wrong, and it also does not support Handy integration or funscript playback. So at the moment, while the headset supports external storage at the OS level, DeoVR does not seem to be able to access it.
Has anyone managed to get DeoVR to recognize external drives on Pico? Is there a known workaround, such as manually adding the mount path or using a specific file system format?
Any technical advice would be appreciated, thanks!
