Full videos not playing through DeoVR

I'm signed in but videos are only like a minute long. But if I play the videos through my chrome browser, it plays the full video. Going to try reinstalling DeoVR.

Edit: Reinstalling didn't work. Logging out and back in also a no go.

I have been having the same issue for a few days now.. I thought it has to do with my internet connection or something but looks like other members are experiencing this issue..

I also tried logging out/in..

some videos actually play in full, even if i exit that video and play it again its always played in full, but only some of the videos... its very random.. and its not studio specific..

I did a bit more testing and found that, as I have both a Quest 3 and a Valve Index, when I use the PC version of Deo I get this issue with certain videos. In the Quest 3 version (normal and hyper), the same video works fine. The majority of videos seem to work fine on the PC version as well, but some will play a really short trailer version, as mentioned. I have submitted it to support as well.

Same issue for me. Only previews play via deo VR.

i think i have found the cause of the issue, if a video is playing the preview, go to menu tab "quick", in the drop down list you will find "H264 60Hz" and 2x "H265 60 Hz" ... one of the H265 is the preview and the other one is the full video, if someone could confirm

LickLock Yes, I can confirm that is the main problem for me also, switching to H264 or the other H265 fix it. Thanks 🙂

AlexSLR I also found that in the drop-down, I have two H265 (60fps) options that look identical (and one H264). The H264 has issues, which could be a codec problem with my system (it lags and glitches out). If I select the “other” H265 option, that works fine, but not the one that is selected by default.

JordanSLR there was an update to DevoVr on steam yesturday and now its fixed (wasn't a couple days ago).
