  • Should i always download the biggest file size?

Hello guys
I have been reading about the SLR RAWs scenes and when I go to download a video that support it there are a lot of options for the download like 6k, Original and stuff like that.
which do i download if i want to watch RAW VR?
i have HP Reverb and using the DeoVR player.

    The big files, sometimes h.264 sometimes h.265
    Depends on cam.


    To be fair, the compressed (smaller) h.265 of same resolution look just as good in your headset.

      May i ask what's the difference between 5K and ORIGINAL 5K?

        The ORIGINAL is uncompressed. In this case more precisely lossless h265. Which isn't completely the same as RAW, but it's for all intent and purpose the same thing. Just another way of compiling.

        RAW is like film on tape, mpeg uses math.
        The smaller 5K h265 is 'lossy', as in there's data 'lost'.

        Bitmap stores the color value of each individual pixel, vectors draw lines between point A and point B
        Bitmap and vector
