Pico, DeoVR not working. Unable to stream SLR

In my pico 4 headset, when I load the DeoVR app, the Deo logo appears - then stuck in a loading spinner.

If I connect to mobile hotspot, mobile connected to my WiFi, DeoVR loads just fine.

It’s all been working fine until last week or so after updating the OS and Deo app.

I have cleared cache, reinstalled Deo. Same thing

Messaged DeoVR and I agree must be something with my WiFi (1 GBPS download).

All other apps work fine, on all devices. It is just DeoVR on my Pico headset.

Anyone else has this issue? How to resolve? I cannot use SLR in a headset right now 🙁

deconnect and connect again the WLAN. I have sometimes the same issue. the PICO connected somtimes to the 2,4ghz network instead of the 5.0 ghz. this sucks.

AshSLR I have contacted them, next to no help.

My WiFi is very stable. Everything works perfectly, except for DeoVR.

I tried resetting WiFi, forgetting network. Reinstalling Deo, same issue. All other apps work fine on my Pico including Twitch.

Any help appreciated please. Currently, I am paying for SLR and cannot use it. It’s been perfect for many years until now 🙁

How you getting it to always connect to 5 ghz?

ttv34 Do you have access to your wifi router's settings? As it seems to work when you use your phone as an access point: Try setting up a guest network and disable IPv6 (or set to IPv4 only) for that network. Connect your Pico to that network and see if it helps.

SchnuppiLilac Thanks, will try this. But - my network has always been IPv6 for ~ 6 months. You have to specifically setup IPv4 and disable IPv6.

@AshSLR I have contacted internet service provider, they are next to no help and say it is an issue with the app - which makes sense because everything else works, including Twitch - a lot heavier streaming/data etc than default DeoVR home page.

I am unable to use DeoVR or my SLR subscription. so annoying. Deo just suddenly won't load. 🙁

@AlexSLR Is it possible to side load SLR app like before?

Are you not using the workaround that you found (putting your phone in the middle) or the SLR hub? None of my business but it just breaks my heart when someone can't watch VR porn 😃

I cannot use Deo/SLR by phone tethering. 1GB monthly plan. Wifi - 1. GBPS, unlimited monthly.

It has all worked fine for 5 years I think, until now. 🙁

ttv34 I cannot use Deo/SLR by phone tethering.

I was thinking of using your phone hotspot with mobile data switched off, passing through your wifi connection and using your phone as an access point to your wifi but not your cellular network. I had understood that you did it this way.

SchnuppiLilac My phone can't forward wifi connection on hotspot - only mobile data. DeoVR loads ok with mobile data only, but then SLR doesn't load as expected - have another thread about that.

I have tried:

1) Pico connected to new 2.4GHz wifi network. DeoVR logo appears, then stuck on a loading spinner.
2) Pico connected to new 5GHz wifi network. DeoVR logo appears, then stuck on a loading spinner.
3) Pico connected to mobile phone hotspot with mobile data. DeoVR loads fine, but SLR does not load.

Between all those steps i've reinstalled DeoVR, forgot wifi networks, cleared data/cache.

AlexSLR Is there a way I can have SLR in my headset, without DeoVR?

DeoVR is just not working for me, i've tried everything suggested from other users, google, AI, contacted Deo and internet service provider, no success.

So annoying - ignoring the UK age verification (which I can't get to on a headset) - I'm paying for subscription and cannot load SLR in my VR headset after it working perfectly for many years. And it is the time of year I usually use it the most 🙁

Did you try a VPN on your Pico headset? Install WireGuard

My Pico 4 in UK is working fine, not sure why you are having issues

Did you try factory resetting your headset?

So I cannot even get SLR to load and test age verification in my headset, because DeoVR does not load.

I tried going to https://www.sexlikereal.com/hub. in my headset browser - when I try to sign in, it goes to a blank page.

I have factory reset my Pico headset and have the same issue.

Can you please investigate this / talk with DeoVR, I am unable to use my subscription. 🙁

I installed it recently but can't remember how, I think it was literally just:

Go to https://www.wireguard.com/install/ on your Pico browser
Download the Android apk
Enable Developer mode:

Go to Settings > General > About

Then scroll down and click 7 times on 'Software Version'

This will unlock a new Developer category on the left

Install the WireGuard apk

And then you'll need to get the VPN config file from your VPN provider, copy it over via USB C/network share and import to WireGuard
