It appears to me that since Handy FW 4 came out, BT is the way to go. BT used to be pretty bad. Via wifi there are many issues as of late, like disconnecting during session which is the worst. Skipping around scene you need to pause/play the script to get it going again. Other issues also. Pros of going with BT: no loading of script, instant connection. This is really nice when switching back from Manual mode, wifi has to reload the script EVERY time No drop outs with the connection... at all ever Script accuracy with Handy appears to be the same as wifi I'm using Q3 SLR via DeoVR with the Handy OG and here is how you connect BT. Go to Settings from the Grid, then Haptics, then make sure Handy option is Disabled, Put your Handy into BT mode by holding bottom button 3-4 seconds > it will blink blue/purple, then add the BT device with the bottom option (for future sessions it will automatically connect now). TIP: press the Up button on the Handy until you max it out. You need to do this only one time if it appears the range isn't fully working. Give BT a try & report back here with your opinions...

I kept avoiding BT because the range seemed so minimal that I thought it wasn’t working - but maybe that last line you just indicated was the reason all along. I’ll have to try that out!

curteye I think the initial BT range being off is a byproduct of using Manual mode maybe.
Again, if something seems off range-wise just hit Up repeatedly on the Handy itself to address this issue... and once its fixed, your good to go

The needing to hit the pause button repeatedly to get the script to start is pretty annoying, but the faster connection and script sending time are pretty cool.

I tried it on heresphere tho...and its still kind of sketch.

lukcybro87 Pretty sure Handy BT isn't supported in Heresphere at all. Wifi connection only for Heresphere.

hell no, its super glitchy. I have to go back to firmware 3. There's some latency issue and sometime it would just stop working in the middle of a script. Same for wifi, firmware 4 suck.

You probably have interfering signals or congested network

renstimpy11 how do i fix that? I think i was using it on the pcvr not sure if it was on the quest standalone or not. Im not using any bluetooth in the room. My wireless mouse uses 2.4 wifi or w/e
