doublevr I don’t remember which one froze but they were few and maybe not yet converted. My device in an M5 on WiFi 6 always updated with last app and visionOS versions. Please focus on removing the play controls to appear without requiring that (is really really annoying). Many thanks, regards.

I’m using it with an Apple Vision Pro with the M5 chip. Version 1.9 is a big improvement - it’s finally possible to adjust the image axis.
However, most SLR Originals videos, as well as many high-quality videos such as VRSpy, do not play at all. I only get audio with no picture. The same issue occurs when using the service in Safari.
My internet connection is 8 Gbit/s, one of the fastest available, so the problem is definitely not related to connection speed.

pj4ever Hey! Could you please check if the issue only affects newer Passthrough videos? Also please share a couple of video links that don't play.

Most SLR videos don't work, regardless of whether they're passthrough or not.

The situation is currently poor on both fronts:
Safari: most videos may fail to start.
Hyper 1.9: the video starts, but there may be no sound.
I really don't understand why everything runs smoothly and correctly on the Quest 3 - which has a much slower processor -yet doesn't work at all on much better hardware 🙁

pj4ever avp is very different playback architecture and encodings. The team is looking into it.

We plan some major improvements on avp with upcoming updates

doublevr Please on AVP also improve eye control because is almost impossible to select between close UI elements and the selected one is always the next to the wanted one. Even more important avoid play controls to appear without fingers pinching. Also tags for video resolution and searches with multiple tags is needed. Thanks.

doublevr Sorry i can’t provide a screenshot shot for many reasons but there is nothing to see: there is the play controls (play button, progress bar, etc) superimposed to the video exactly like when you really want to recall this control panel but it appears continuously without recalling it (and is absurd annoying)

JordanSLR sorry I vill not submit a video (I’m really busy and the video wouldn’t show nothing different as when you pinch thumb and index to request for play controls…but thi happens spontaneously without pinching, than pinching it disappears but the problem is that this happens frequently).

Kieshi Unfortunately, after the latest update, no videos work on the Apple Vision Pro M5 - neither in the app nor in Safari.
Update:
After 20 minutes Hyper starts working. Now I't ok

Kieshi Maybe on Quest and maybe playback is now smoother but on AVP (M5 last firmware) the app is completely unusable as already said many times; the huge problem is gaze control that is totally unreliable: highlight is not in the point where you look at and is not stable (it moves even if eyes are not moving) so you can’t select the right item from the left menu list, often the progress bar is not selectable during playback (when you try the play/pause button is selected instead and similars). Just small head movements or hand shakes and the playback control panel appears without invoking it. On AVP is unusable and I’m really sorry for that, you should urgently fix all those eye controls issues. Thank you.

T70 Do you experience the same issue in other apps? Could you also try recalibrating the eye tracking on your headset?
You can also try force-quitting the app by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the top button at the same time. Restarting the app resets all settings.

EveSLR Of course I recalibrated eye tracking (this improved just a bit) and tried shutting down the app and re opening it but nothing changed. No, I don’t have any problem with any other app. For your information I wear glasses (both short-sight and astigmatism on both eyes) and I use tailored Zeiss optical inserts inside AVP. The player control panel that appears without invoking it is really a pain in the ass.
