pj4ever Oh definitely. I haven't used my AVP in ages. Again, in many ways the AVP is the better headset. But in pure display quality for porn, the XR really wins. Oh and personally i just hate the weight of the AVP, also a huge downside. But the AVP has a way faster chipset which makes the whole user interface just so much snappier.
It's too bad that PICO has delayed their headset to Q4 so it's still some months out.

Personally I would probably wait for that, at least in theory it's going to be THE best porn headset out there. It should have at least similar, or better, panels than the XR. And PICO has developed their own chipset which supposedly is way faster, so everything should run much smoother without thermo throttling. So if you're in the market right now, it could still be the best option to wait a few months ... Personally I also just really LOVE the puck design, so they put most hardware in an external puck, so the headset itself, on your head, should be really low weight. And the puck you can just put on your desk or your bed or whatever, doesnt bother for our use case 🙂 And I'm sure the form factor/ergonomics can't be as bad as the XR, LOL. Really hoping for some improvements there too, so that I dont need to cut pieces off, like I did with my XR.
I might get the PICO myself too. I like my XR for porn but damn, when the thermo trottling kicks in, that's just a huge bummer...
