How long is a piece of 'video'?..Well,sub 3 minutes apparently.

For the last couple of days' update,I saw video of 2m46s,2m47s and 2m40s.Are we getting sub 1 minute videos next year?A commercial break on TV channels last longer than that.This is getting ridiculous.
