Proposal: Expanding and Organizing 2D Content on SLR
There’s been a lot of talk lately about 2D content on the forum — and I’m all for it. I love seeing 2D videos featured alongside VR. But one thing that would really help is a way to tell the difference on creator profiles. Sometimes I click a video expecting VR and it’s 2D instead. A simple “2D” icon or a filter option would make browsing smoother and clearer.
Beyond organization, 2D content can be a powerful tool for creators. It doesn’t have to be full-length scenes — it could be behind-the-scenes footage, short interviews, quick promos for upcoming VR releases, or even links to socials and paid platforms like OnlyFans or ManyVids. 2D uploads make it easy for creators to stay active between big VR drops, keeping fans consistently "engaged"
And with meta vr out now, consumer camera's like a insta360, POV-capable headsets, even AR tools — there’s no limit to how creators can blend formats. SLR could evolve into a complete adult social platform that unites 2D, VR, AR, live streams, and BTS content all in one place. That kind of variety helps retain subscribers and keeps creators motivated to create.
I’d even love to see subscribers get more involved — maybe the option to upload reviews or adult content. Right now, we can only comment, but deeper community features could make the platform truly interactive.
And possibly, if SLR doesn’t, someone else’s platform will. Technology moves fast, bro 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Look at what’s happening with AI and Sora-generated videos — it’s insane. So many creators here are already making pictures and short clips with AI and sharing them on X cuz x allows nudity, It’s a no-brainer to give that kind of creative freedom and visibility inside SLR too.
Just some thoughts from the ptguy about the 2d.
