We’re planning to move all sex toy connectivity into the new Haptics Connect (HC) app - turning it into your one-stop device manager for Handy, Autoblow, SLR Melody (TBA), Kiiroo, and more and unlocking new functionality. Once you connect your toy to HC, it links with your SLR account - just like how Spotify works with your car or TV. From then on, every time you turn on your device, it connects automatically with SLR (and DeoVR) without extra setup or launching extra apps. No more repeated setup on SLR or DeoVR. Handy FW4 also works without the Handy onboarding app. Why this matters: • One-time setup → single point to add and manage your devices • Unified device management for SLR products. • Extra features coming: opt-in fitness tracker style metrics, multi-user p2p control, and more. Potentailly giving an API for third party developers. This simplifies life for both users and developers, bringing all device logic into one clean service. 📝 Note: Current HC app will be deprecated. This post is about the upcoming version, not the existing one. We’re still in the idea stage, so your feedback is welcome. @"renstimpy11"#p111722 we are looking to make it easier for users and developers. Currently it's idea level discussion. You connect handy once to haptics connect that gets linked to slr. Every time you turn your handy on it connects to slr automatically so you don't need to launch hc app nor add it on slr or deovr app the way it's now. Also with handy fw4 you don't need handy feeling/ onboarding app either. Connect your handy with haptics connect once and make it work with your quest 3 any time without thinking much about it. It's more of a deal for Bluetooth devices that we are figuring

@"doublevr"#p111724 I just tried the HC app with the Handy (connection code) and was able to connect successfully to the SLR website. Put on the Q3, and the Haptics tab on the right says its Connected to Haptics Connect. But... when I close the HC app on my phone it disconnects on the Q3 also... so, unless im missing something, phone app must be on for it to work. The Handy WiFi connection to SLR DeoVR Q3 usually works fine. Gonna test BT with fw4, been a while since I have used BT

... also, I couldn't figure out where to connect SLR to the HC app when trying the New site... had to use to Old one

I like the way it currently works, what would be the user benefits to changing it?

Any update on the new app release date? My haptics connect app just updated so I can no longer use it but I have been using the built in version in DEOVR but have notice it skips actions occasionally and it can be frustrating as using haptics connect I had none of these issues, Any update or solution would be appreciated.
