SchnuppiLilac I think it speaks to the operating systems improved ability to see, measure, and interpret our actual environments. This will allow better, more accurate placement of digital people, etc., into our live passthrough environments. The blending of digital overlay and live passthrough camera will improve because of this technology.
I also predict that yes, at some point we will be able to scan our environment, and use that environment to replace any traditional VR video background we want, while preserving the people, or other objects from the original video.
