Has ANYONE been able to get a quest 3/SR6 to work using DeoVr? Or were we all using MFP?

Step one, connect quest 3 via meta quest app, bam, Im stuck right there. I have an intel nuc 15 laptop, meta quest link says my graphics card is incompatible.

Anyone know a way around this? A way to link sr6 to deovr without meta quest link?

SLR staff keeps asking if I've "configured my sr6" but that seems like a stupid question if I can't even link my headset to PC, open windows deovr app, etc.

Surely there is a easier way, MFP wasn't perfect, but at least it worked.

This seems to be typical of SLR, roll out an update, then the solution comes 1 mo later.

Reeses Prior to the recent update that broke everything, yes. I had my osr2 working with multi axis directly against DeoVR via questLink. But opted to use MFP instead because it was a much better experience.

Post update, as I understand everything broke....

But we may have an MFP side workaround now. Haven't tested it myself yet though.

We need more info - what graphics card are you using? Did you download the latest drivers? You will need a pretty beefy card to run vr video via quest link.

netcat between slr and meta man... trying to sidequest a apk per patreon link you sent. Accidentally hit "always allow from this computer." When connecting headset to sidequest, now debugging mode doesn't display a pop up to allow. I seem to remember i Accidentally hit "always allow" when setting up sidequest on my old q2, and the same thing happened.

Im really mad that SLR just can't leave shit that works alone.

I may not be seeing the right stuff on my laptop, but it looks like intel(r) arc and A550 Graphics and gpu is Intel Iris Xe

Reeses I get it, its super frustrating. You don't need to sideload an apk though - just update to the newest MFP version. Looks like Yoooi found a workaround. You will need to set up the config from scratch though- copying it over from a previous version won't work.

I also put together an OSR a few years ago, in my opinion there is the option to connect OSR directly via the cable or you can upgrade to ESP32 with Bluetooth support, then there should be the option to connect DEOVR directly to the OSR via Bluetooth, without MPF of course I know that, that is associated with costs, but I think ESP32 with Bluetooth was not that expensive. It would only be an emergency solution. I'm not a professional when it comes to OSR, but there are certainly many users who know better.

I developed the firmware for OSR2/SR6 (originally developed by TempestMAx).
It works for OSR/SR6, which is built on the ESP32 board with Bluetooth integration.
I implemented direct BLE connection to DeoVR at Quest, and it supports SLR Haptics control even in DeoVR v15.1.

However, I was only able to do the 'Stroke' movement since no other axis data was found in the BLE packets from DeoVR-SLR.
With this firmware, both OSR2 and SR6 will be recognized as "OSR-ESP32"
